Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseu Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Johannes Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Sidney Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Sidney Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Saraiva in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling García Cuervas in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luis Andino fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Luis Andino a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. 20 minutes into the match, Comanche EC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Johannes Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 28th minute, García Cuervas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. When Comanche EC's Witold Blochowiak in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Comanche EC were awarded a corner. Dieguinho Aguiar went to the cornerflag to take it. Comanche EC's Eliseu Saraiva got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Blochowiak in the 40th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witold Blochowiak's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Johannes Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Comanche EC's Sidney Vidal got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell García Cuervas to make the kick off. With a little luck, Comanche EC's Johannes Isaksson got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eliseu Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 60th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Isaksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, Comanche EC's García Cuervas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dieguinho Aguiar hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johannes Isaksson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, García Cuervas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comanche EC's supporters rose to their feet, but García Cuervas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Isaksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 90th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Johannes Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
