Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tadeo Seguinus got the match started through his kick off. A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Daniel Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Ilazki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeledon Ilazki came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 18th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Ilazki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Mela Banco's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Cristian Sancho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 28 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Zeledon Ilazki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Ilazki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeledon Ilazki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Zeledon Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Zeledon Ilazki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 37 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki. Zeledon Ilazki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. Zeledon Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play. Sportivo Mela Banco's Zeledon Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Ilazki was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zeledon Ilazki, 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Camilo Gisbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Gisbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Ilazki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zeledon Ilazki could save by the left post. 62 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Sportivo Mela Banco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Luis Andino made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sportivo Mela Banco's Evelio Enaut. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Ilazki. That made the score 0-13 after 71 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Mela Banco's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Ilazki came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Ilazki was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luis Andino. In the 84th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Ilazki. Sportivo Mela Banco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. Zeledon Ilazki made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Ilazki came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Ilazki having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Zeledon Ilazki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
