When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Raimundo Espírito Santo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nicu Ilieș hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Gazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Gazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Espírito Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Armando Gazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute.
