In the 41st minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Efraim Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Larsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Peru booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Bara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes Decathlon Dudes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Decathlon Dudes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
