Tre Starka:s Vukašin Hadžiđulbić showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bennvar Galloway was the one to do the kick off. Tre Starka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 93rd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
