After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Beck was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Christoffersson in the 53rd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Beck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Thor Grönberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Waller in the 63rd minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlie Vestberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jonny Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonny Almqvist made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Abram Luque sent off a good shot on target. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute.
