After a rather tough play, Uí Fergusa's Xie Rong Hao got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergio Rochet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sergio Rochet. That made the score 0-3 in the 63 minute of play. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Rochet. Uí Fergusa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. Emmanuel Reyes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Rochet having to make a save. Sergio Rochet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Walery Pazura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 88th minute, Walery Pazura made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Uí Fergusa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
