Franciszek Cymbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Flavinho Braga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franciszek Cymbal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luís Fernando Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Franciszek Cymbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Godoi in the 12th minute of play forced Griffins's goalkeeper Franciszek Cymbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Griffins's Franciszek Cymbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Britto in the 13th minute of play. Franciszek Cymbal came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Bucéfalo FC's Nico Godoi. But to his dismay, Nico Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Franciszek Cymbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute, Nico Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Franciszek Cymbal. Griffins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Franciszek Cymbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Braga in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franciszek Cymbal. Flavinho Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Cymbal having to interfere. Almir Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Franciszek Cymbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bucéfalo FC booed when Griffins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincenty Kendra didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Griffins players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bucéfalo FC were winning 0-4.

After 55 minutes of play, Bucéfalo FC's Flavinho Braga made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franciszek Cymbal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Luís Fernando Favoretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franciszek Cymbal was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Luís Fernando Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Franciszek Cymbal made a huge save. With a little luck, Griffins's Franciszek Cymbal got control of the ball when Flavinho Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line.
