Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tim Tim took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Baiano in the 6th minute of play forced Raining Blood's goalkeeper Albertinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Xiboquinha FC's André Meirelles made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 10 minutes, Dé Mangueira made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Xiboquinha FC's Gil Lima tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Baiano. 19 minutes into the game, Hélder Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xiboquinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raining Blood the free kick. The supporters of Raining Blood booed when Xiboquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Xiboquinha FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tim Tim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Albertinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Baiano in the 24th minute of the match. Gil Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Lima stood somewhat misplaced when Dé Mangueira came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 28 minute. After 32 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Vergílio. André Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Marcel Andrade's late challenge caught a Xiboquinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Raining Blood got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Andrade. 39 minutes into the match, André Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albertinho Mattos. Raining Blood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Xiboquinha FC booed when Raining Blood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ravi Ninho was the one to do the kick off. Albertinho Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravi Ninho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Raining Blood's Tim Tim in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xiboquinha FC's goalie prevented a goal. When André Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Xiboquinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Meirelles couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Raining Blood's zone, Ravi Ninho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Mattos came out of the goal and Ravi Ninho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Vergílio during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franklin Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Albertinho Mattos made a huge save. Duda Veiga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes of play, Xiboquinha FC's Franklin Mendes made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Mattos was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Xiboquinha FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
