An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Sarantos in the 30th minute of play forced Bucéfalo FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thomas Leontarakis fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seahawks V55's protests and gave Thomas Leontarakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Thomas Leontarakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giotis Lazarellis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tico Mole in the 46th minute of play. Seahawks V55's Giotis Lazarellis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tico Mole in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tico Mole to make the kick off. Giotis Lazarellis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Passos in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute Romário Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giotis Lazarellis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Petros Sarantos's late challenge caught a Bucéfalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petros Sarantos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bucéfalo FC booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Sarantos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Thanos Ntaloukas made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luís Montenegro. Bucéfalo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After having played for 82 minutes, Nico Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bucéfalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Nico Godoi could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Giotis Lazarellis however easily saved by the left post.
