The Machu Picchu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halil Can Keramettin should have stopped the shot. After 7 played minutes Machu Picchu got a freekick which was hit by Halim Tümay. Halil Can Keramettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Åke Kihlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Mehmet Anıl Rical shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Machu Picchu's Halil Can Keramettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Lindberg in the 15th minute of play. Jesper Wallin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Halil Can Keramettin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UÅ Mästerbotten. UÅ Mästerbotten's Niklas Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Anıl Rical in the 23rd minute of play. Halil Can Keramettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute George Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Can Keramettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Machu Picchu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Galip Kurhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Eric Moberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Can Keramettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Wallin in the 42nd minute of play forced Machu Picchu's goalkeeper Halil Can Keramettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, UÅ Mästerbotten's Karl-Axel Bammerman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Eric Moberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Halil Can Keramettin to make any attempt to save it. Halil Can Keramettin made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Lindberg in the 58th minute. Arne Lagerberg took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halil Can Keramettin. Halil Can Keramettin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 69th minute George Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Can Keramettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, UÅ Mästerbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Moberg to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Machu Picchu's Francesco Toldo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Mehmet Anıl Rical took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niklas Ström. Niklas Ström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Niklas Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Anıl Rical, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Jesper Wallin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Halil Can Keramettin. Jesper Wallin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4.
