In the 4th minute, Yetkiner Yasun made a precise shot to the right of Édouard Mendy. KONDOR FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KONDOR FC! Édouard Mendy had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Ilie Cazacu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. FC Lutanu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ilie Cazacu in the 10th minute. Édouard Mendy made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Yetkiner Yasun sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octav Romaşcanu in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Édouard Mendy saved KONDOR FC from getting behind. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkiner Yasun in the 18th minute of the match. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Romaşcanu in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, KONDOR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Romaşcanu came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Kochanowicz in the 30th minute of play. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yetkiner Yasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Tolek Kochanowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Octav Romaşcanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lutanu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Romaşcanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, FC Lutanu's Yetkiner Yasun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Édouard Mendy was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Octav Romaşcanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octav Romaşcanu really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franciszek Dembowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Lutanu booed when KONDOR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomo Montandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Lutanu's Yetkiner Yasun got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 played minutes KONDOR FC got a freekick which was hit by Zygmunt Duszenski. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yetkiner Yasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Iancu in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Kochanowicz in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tolek Kochanowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Costin Uncheşelu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Édouard Mendy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Octav Romaşcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
