The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Botero in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Petardo Futebol e Surf defense, Adam Harasimowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Silviano. The Petardo Futebol e Surf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Silviano should have stopped the shot. Hudson Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 23 minutes of play, S.e Cadilli's Rodrigo Botero made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Silviano was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Botero in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Silviano saved Petardo Futebol e Surf from getting behind. 1-3 became the score in the 28th minute when Jefferson Donato elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rodrigo Botero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Silviano having to make a save. Petardo Futebol e Surf's Flavio Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Botero in the 32nd minute of play. S.e Cadilli's Hudson Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save S.e Cadilli from getting a goal against them. After 40 minutes of play, S.e Cadilli's Rodrigo Botero made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Silviano was left in no man's land by his defense there! S.e Cadilli's Hudson Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save S.e Cadilli from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, S.e Cadilli's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Favoretto came free, but Hudson Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrianinho Favoretto to strike the kick off in the second half. Rene Houseman kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Petardo Futebol e Surf got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Madureira. Waldemar Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Botero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Flavio Silviano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dinç Tekgül hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Petardo Futebol e Surf got a freekick which was hit by Dinç Tekgül. Flavio Silviano was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Rene Houseman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rene Houseman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Petardo Futebol e Surf's Jeremias Moreira was substituted for Adrianinho Favoretto. S.e Cadilli's Rodrigo Botero was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Petardo Futebol e Surf's zone, Rodrigo Botero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Silviano came out of the goal and Rodrigo Botero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petardo Futebol e Surf's goalkeeper Flavio Silviano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Petardo Futebol e Surf lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
