Gigi Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Gala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel De Pablo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonton Eren in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Gala in the 10th minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Gigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tonton Eren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel De Pablo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Tonton Eren didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 14th minute. Ajax's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The wind increased when Mundo Rosas made the kick off in the second half. If Cipriano Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute.
