The supporters of Peru booed when GARGOYLES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Klack didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind GARGOYLES's goalkeeper Nayden Vúlev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nayden Vúlev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Valko Nanyov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-1. Ignacio Alvarez in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Noboa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Alvarez made a kick off. A collision led to GARGOYLES getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Slavyan Mechkuev hit a great ball. When GARGOYLES's Ignacio Alvarez, in the 58th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for GARGOYLES. 66 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nayden Vúlev, 1-2. When GARGOYLES's Ignacio Alvarez in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nayden Vúlev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavyan Mechkuev, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Slavyan Mechkuev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Alvarez in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. The GARGOYLES supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
