Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Davi Lamonica kicked off to start the match. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 6 in the game by Valdo Veloso from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Lamonica, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dinamo Colorado's Valdo Veloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Valdo Veloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Davi Lamonica heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Valdo Veloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. It was a well-played corner which Moisés de Azevedo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 32nd minute of the match, Valdo Veloso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hugo Ferrant's late challenge caught a Dinamo Colorado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ferrant helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdo Veloso's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Clemente Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fabrício Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Veloso in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Valdo Veloso made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Veloso in the 64th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamo Colorado were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moisés de Azevedo took the corner. Abel Carballo's late challenge caught a Dinamo Colorado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Carballo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Rivaldo Dez replaced Moisés de Azevedo. After 71 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrício Negri made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Veloso in the 80th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Veloso in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Axel Tasis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Lamonica in the 90th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Dinamo Colorado were the better team. Dinamo Colorado's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
