Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Bennvar Galloway sent off a good shot on target. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of play. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pinki Pied had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vukašin Hadžiđulbić having to interfere. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Pinki Pied reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pinki Pied in the 35th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Tre Starka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vukašin Hadžiđulbić quite easily take care of the ball. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bennvar Galloway in the 39th minute. A collision led to Tre Starka getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ola Björklund hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vukašin Hadžiđulbić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Vukašin Hadžiđulbić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Tre Starka getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pinki Pied hit a great ball. Frans Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić didn't even have to move. Tre Starka's defense could not quite keep up when Joel Gaona in the 58th minute got ready and shot a well placed long shot on target. It was only the outstanding action taken by the goalkeeper Vukašin Hadžiđulbić that stopped the ball from going in by the upper left corner. Bennvar Galloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Tre Starka's Vukašin Hadžiđulbić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. When Tre Starka's Pinki Pied in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. After 78 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. Tre Starka made a substitution. Torbjörn Löfgren replaced Per-Oskar Ålberg. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Bennvar Galloway who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stig Petersson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Tre Starka's Stig Petersson to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vukašin Hadžiđulbić. The goal made the score 1-3. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tre Starka getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Torbjörn Löfgren hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Pinki Pied left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tre Starka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
