Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charly Alcaraz in the 14th minute. In the 20th minute, Baldomero Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cícero Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cícero Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in POCASPULGAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! 25 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafal Leszczynski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafal Leszczynski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, POCASPULGAS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rafal Leszczynski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Xie Lin Kuan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. 42 minutes into the match, POCASPULGAS's Charly Alcaraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charly Alcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to POCASPULGAS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Baldomero Bilintx hit a great ball. Rafal Leszczynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charly Alcaraz made a kick off. With a little luck, POCASPULGAS's Rafal Leszczynski got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andoni Viso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafal Leszczynski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, POCASPULGAS's Andoni Viso got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rafal Leszczynski made a huge save. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafal Leszczynski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to POCASPULGAS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Doru Necșulescu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Rafal Leszczynski however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Leszczynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafal Leszczynski made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 80 minutes of play, POCASPULGAS's Andoni Viso made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juvenal Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. The POCASPULGAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
