Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patric Isaksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Fellipe Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrenta SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Agustín Tastzian sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 16 in the game by Nariman Mansourian from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Patric Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patric Isaksson was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nariman Mansourian didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Barrenta SC's Agustín Tastzian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patric Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patric Isaksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Tastzian in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Patric Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patric Isaksson saved Barrenta SC from getting behind. Patric Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes Barrenta SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 41 minutes, Juan Sebastián Puig made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Barrenta SC's Patric Isaksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 51st minute, Valdemar Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 minutes, Agustín Tastzian made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 65th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Wellington de Godoi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Isaksson having to interfere. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patric Isaksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patric Isaksson. Felix Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrenta SC made a substitution. Urban Stenman replaced Fellipe Lago. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Tastzian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
