The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 23rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Barrenta SC's Fellipe Lago made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patric Isaksson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 29th minute of the match. The Barrenta SC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Barrenta SC's Agustín Tastzian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Patric Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 34th minute of the match. Nariman Mansourian hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 38th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Salvador Gisbert heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 44thth minute of the game Agustín Tastzian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Nariman Mansourian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Valdemar Cabral put in a rough tackle. Tomas Illescas walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Di Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Lago came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilmar da Rocha got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Di Marinho. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Isaksson having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Luiz Paulo do Valle in the 73rd minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fellipe Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Patric Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Di Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Barrenta SC's Di Marinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Urban Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Stenman in the 97th minute of play. Barrenta SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
