Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Eugenio Baristo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Salomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, RIVER PINAMAR fc's Gustavo Quentin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Quentin in the 23rd minute of play. After 29 played minutes RIVER PINAMAR fc got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Tadzio. Benedicto Tadzio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as RIVER PINAMAR fc's Zeledon Urdaspal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. A collision led to RIVER PINAMAR fc getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Edgard Paz hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

RIVER PINAMAR fc made a substitution. Aleksander Piszczor replaced Philip Västerstrand. Gustavo Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Gustavo Quentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Salomon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luciano Salomon. That made the score 4-1 after 56 minutes of play. Luciano Salomon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to RIVER PINAMAR fc getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Markos Mavrikos hit a great ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIVER PINAMAR fc's goalkeeper Luciano Salomon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Paz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. RIVER PINAMAR fc's Luciano Salomon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER PINAMAR fc from getting a goal against them. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Salomon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIVER PINAMAR fc the free kick. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Luciano Salomon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 96th minute of the match. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because RIVER PINAMAR fc had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
