An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 8th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karol Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Panasewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Robin Sharma made a huge save. Karol Panasewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of the match. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Panasewicz went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Karol Panasewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Panasewicz came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tang Yang Le fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Panasewicz's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper Robin Sharma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Panasewicz in the 43rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jenson Smith's late challenge caught a Blue Mountain State's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jenson Smith helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Jenson Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Karol Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afşar Uçuk took the corner. The corner led Blue Mountain State's Tang Yang Le to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karol Panasewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner. Afşar Uçuk went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Blue Mountain State's corner Karol Panasewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 60th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Brown to maneuver through the defense. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Blue Mountain State's Luis Vázquez was substituted for Tang Yang Le. Blue Mountain State's Gökcan Bergin was substituted for Aykut Aşkın. After 69 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Brown. 70 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afşar Uçuk. 71 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robin Sharma. Robin Sharma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Robin Sharma came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Khalid Parry. But to his dismay, Khalid Parry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Luis Vázquez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marco Day firmly grabbed it by the left post. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of the match. Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Afşar Uçuk.
