Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algitas Dubauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Absoliut were awarded a corner. Algitas Dubauskas went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Cui Qing heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Qing came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu made a kick off. The referee ignored Absoliut's protests and gave Naglis Guzas a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Naglis Guzas. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Robertas Sabaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Absoliut made a substitution. Henrikas Stulpinas replaced Jerzy Frankowski. In the 68th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Absoliut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Camilo Franco made a great header on Uruguay's corner, it was just that Absoliut's Robertas Sabaitis managed to reach the ball for a save. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Virginijus Balčaitis notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Absoliut's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
