Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. 박 계 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th match minute, EssenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Park Jíša to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 박 계 was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in EssenFC's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 박 계 came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, 김 필 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 1-1. 유 곽 might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 유 곽 ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 박 계 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when 사 성 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 사 성 made a kick off. 사 성's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 사 성 helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, EssenFC's France Austria got a free kick in the 55th minute. Moises Tafalla took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 박 계. 박 계 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 61st minute, 강 추 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, EssenFC's 강 추 got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Park Jíša managed to get in a good position for a shot. EssenFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Park Jíša was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to EssenFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Park Jíša hit a great ball. The throw-in from 김 황보 in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. After a rather tough play, EssenFC's 사 성 got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in EssenFC's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 박 계 came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 유 곽 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by EssenFC's Park Jíša. But to his dismay, Park Jíša quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 박 계 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
