Floresta Club U18's Sidnei Dionísio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 18 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Reis in the 19th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas de Souza in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Douglas de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliézer Correia hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Douglas de Souza was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Floresta Club U18's Jacobo Nores threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Douglas de Souza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Douglas de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas de Souza's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Douglas de Souza sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Gilmar Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Floresta Club U18's Vito Maia was substituted for Gilmar Castro. Douglas de Souza in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacobo Nores, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Paraguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Floresta Club U18's performance. The match ended with a win for Floresta Club U18.
