Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 5th minute of play forced AC Roma's goalkeeper Cristoforo Brillante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Della Francesca in the 7th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Cristoforo Brillante threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Zorita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 19th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of AC Roma's goal. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Ernesto Errolan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Javier Della Francesca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Javier Della Francesca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Della Francesca in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute AC Roma were awarded a corner. Alvaro Sforza went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on AC Roma's corner Alvaro Sforza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dante Lacasa quite easily take care of the ball. Cristoforo Brillante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of the match. If Alvaro Sforza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Sforza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Javier Della Francesca got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Brillante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Alvaro Sforza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-1. Cristoforo Brillante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessio Odisio got free with Dante Lacasa in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Alessio Odisio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessio Odisio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Alvaro Sforza tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Brillante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristoforo Brillante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 72nd minute. AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Horia Nasta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Della Francesca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 84th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Brillante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. Angelo Donati kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Alvaro Sforza took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. In the 94th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Brillante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
