Gregoire Humblets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ciro Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of the match. Decathlon Anderlecht's Ciro Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner ended in Richy Valkeneers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remco Dekker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Remco Dekker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remco Dekker was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remco Dekker's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Decathlon Anderlecht's goalkeeper Ciro Lira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 67 minutes of play, Decathlon Anderlecht's Mattijs Klaes made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Remco Dekker came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remco Dekker in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Gregoire Humblets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remco Dekker's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remco Dekker helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciro Lira. The goal made the score 4-1. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattijs Klaes in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Remco Dekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Decathlon Anderlecht could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
