In the 4th minute Dabi Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ponc Caballero got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dabi Vila. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dabi Vila in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nereo Cacheres was slow to take the kick. During this time Los once leones Ourense's players had a chance to rest. Los once leones Ourense's Nereo Cacheres was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ponc Caballero made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 15 minutes in the game Ponc Caballero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edelmiro Calvo. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nereo Cacheres sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Albano Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dabi Vila's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Dabi Vila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Dabi Vila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Dabi Vila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 33rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Unzueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes in the game Ponc Caballero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Edelmiro Calvo. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Unzueta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Peru booed when Los once leones Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponc Caballero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Albano Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nereo Cacheres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Los once leones Ourense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Julian Murillo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Peru's Julian Murillo got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Cacheres came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albano Unzueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 67th minute of play. Albano Unzueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 87th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Albano Unzueta. Los once leones Ourense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Unzueta having to interfere. Ponc Caballero got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edelmiro Calvo. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los once leones Ourense! Peru played a much better game than Los once leones Ourense and deserved their victory. The Los once leones Ourense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
