Batıkan User could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Batıkan User made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batıkan User in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Carballo during the 21st minute. Bovenkarspel were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vadim Ilyin took the corner. In the 42nd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Batıkan User got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 5-0. Cobus Zomer charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cobus Zomer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bovenkarspel getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Cobus Zomer hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Batıkan User to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Vadim Ilyin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bovenkarspel's Dave Caneva was substituted for Batıkan User. Bovenkarspel's Wu Mo was substituted for Daniel Sergipano. 67 minutes into the match, Henk-Jan Zandstra notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Dongen in the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Vadim Ilyin made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bovenkarspel had played much better football throughout.
