Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Muli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Stig-Ove Britz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Camilo Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Camilo Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Víktor Muli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 19th minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Henry Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Nordin in the 20th minute of the match. The nice shot from Francisco Seco in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Henry Ekman had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Flodde CFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Anthon Nordin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henry Ekman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 32 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. Anthon Nordin scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40thth minute of the game Anthon Nordin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ture Sandström in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert.

The wind increased when Víktor Muli made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Víktor Muli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Víktor Muli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Víktor Muli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Ture Sandström with Stevie Méthot as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Muli in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 65th minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Henry Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ture Sandström made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carl Malmberg immediately put the ball in play. In the 87th minute, Camilo Franco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Ekman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Anthon Nordin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. In the 94th match minute, Flodde CFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Ospetsu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cazalla in the 95th minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Henry Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flodde CFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
