The audience was convinced that Aziz Kıvılcım's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Kıvılcım in the 6th minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aziz Kıvılcım's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. AKHisaR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ergün Özver in the 11th minute. Lefter Demirbaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to AKHisaR getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Galip Beşer hit a great ball. Lefter Demirbaş acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Axel Tasis. Lefter Demirbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gündüz Tavgaç in the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st play minute Lautaro Puig came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lefter Demirbaş. 1-1. AKHisaR's Lefter Demirbaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save AKHisaR from getting a goal against them. Gündüz Tavgaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Kıvılcım in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. If Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aziz Kıvılcım was the one to do the kick off. Aziz Kıvılcım who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Aziz Kıvılcım got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. After 62 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. In the 63rd minute of the match İlyas Tolga Aras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Aziz Kıvılcım tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by AKHisaR's Halis İlbilge. But to his dismay, Halis İlbilge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Arif Tugay Değirmencioğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gündüz Tavgaç in the 77th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anıl Baran Duran was slow to take the kick. During this time AKHisaR's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AKHisaR's corner Anıl Baran Duran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 81st minute, Ahmet Nasir Cihangir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AKHisaR's Lefter Demirbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 83rd minute of play. Halis İlbilge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Yakup Hacıoğlu lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 91st match minute, AKHisaR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakup Hacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lefter Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over AKHisaR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
