Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexander Nilsson made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Lindkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Du Chong Le narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Sven-Edvin Lindkvist took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Eric Dinnes made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mikolaj Siwek however managed to control. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Djurgården IF's Arvin Ljungberg got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Du Chong Le made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Djurgården IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tim Vrieze hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Nilsson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Nilsson in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Du Chong Le showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Sven-Edvin Lindkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Du Chong Le stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Tomas Illescas took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Du Chong Le to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Sven-Edvin Lindkvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Du Chong Le having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Siwek in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Sven-Edvin Lindkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Djurgården IF were awarded a corner. Arvin Ljungberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Arvin Ljungberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Djurgården IF had played much better football throughout.
