After a defensive mix-up in International Thunders's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rouven Nussli came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, Percival Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rouven Nussli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Rouven Nussli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rouven Nussli made a huge save. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival Costa in the 30th minute of play. Oskar Vahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Jose Manzanedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Gerick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loukianos Staikos made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loukianos Staikos. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rouven Nussli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. International Thunders's Rouven Nussli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Gerardo Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rouven Nussli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nichifor Borăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rouven Nussli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rouven Nussli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
