After 9 minutes Biala Gwiazda SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Biala Gwiazda SSA's Radoslaw Pilipiec managed to reach the ball for a save. Radoslaw Pilipiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Biala Gwiazda SSA's goalkeeper Radoslaw Pilipiec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Despite this Radoslaw Pilipiec quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Wicherek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boguslaw Gargasz got free with Julio Vera in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Radoslaw Pilipiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 51st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Biala Gwiazda SSA's Radoslaw Pilipiec didn't even have to move. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
