Ünal Akbel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Bora Han Öğün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Aaron Barrios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AtletikEdirne the free kick. AtletikEdirne made a substitution. Ahmet Oğuz Şerhenk replaced Bora Han Öğün. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Oğuz Şerhenk in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Ahmet Oğuz Şerhenk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ahmet Oğuz Şerhenk really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 26th minute of play forced AtletikEdirne's goalkeeper Ünal Akbel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 27th minute. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Abraham Alguacil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ünal Akbel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Gilbert Harendarski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 30 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. 37 minutes into the game, AtletikEdirne's Batuhan Bilgin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Oğuz Şerhenk in the 45th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil's late challenge caught a AtletikEdirne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Alguacil helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batuhan Bilgin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Batuhan Bilgin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes, Miguel Miralles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the AtletikEdirne players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. AtletikEdirne's Batuhan Bilgin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Barrios got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuhan Bilgin in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Oğuz Şerhenk in the 84th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AtletikEdirne.
