A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 9th minute, Eliseo Frances fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 14th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richmond De Worteleere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Richmond De Worteleere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Jax got free with Dante Lacasa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Guerau in the 23rd minute of play. Richmond De Worteleere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th match minute, AC 1986 Vinalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Jon to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AC 1986 Vinalito's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richmond De Worteleere came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Abeita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 37th minute of play forced AC 1986 Vinalito's goalkeeper Richmond De Worteleere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Abeita. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Richmond De Worteleere made a huge save. With a little luck, AC 1986 Vinalito's Richmond De Worteleere got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Pichit Mercier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Richmond De Worteleere made a huge save. Marciano Valente's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Valente helped the player get up and apologised. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AC 1986 Vinalito to leave the ground with a draw.
