Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedykt Siembab started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Gortaty's Karol Kopacz got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Kaczynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karol Kopacz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Kopacz having to interfere. Karol Kopacz was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Czeslaw Skrzypiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Czeslaw Skrzypiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Chrzan to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Luca Espinar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karol Kopacz skillfully saved the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Benedykt Siembab who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Siembab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gortaty's Karol Kopacz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 30th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Siembab in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Gortaty's Karol Kopacz got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes in the game, Edmundo Espiga fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Karol Kopacz having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czeslaw Skrzypiec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Skrzypiec to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gortaty's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Kopacz came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Bartosz Chrzan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigiusz Kaczynski's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigiusz Kaczynski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Remigiusz Kaczynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karol Kopacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Milosz Rzeszutek in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. In the 75th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Chrzan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karol Kopacz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 84th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Kopacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Benedykt Siembab came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
