Uruguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Haluk Özdil 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geralt Wilk in the 27th minute. A collision led to Mitschullen SSA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Robert Czaplicki hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mitschullen SSA's Fryderyk Drab got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Dobromir Mielak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Jurand Pozorski put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Mitschullen SSA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uruguay:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Mitschullen SSA were awarded a corner. Bernard Blochowiak went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mitschullen SSA's Bernard Blochowiak to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dobromir Mielak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Beldad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaw Danisiewicz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Maximiliano Escribano sped through Mitschullen SSA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dobromir Mielak. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Mitschullen SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Mitschullen SSA's attentive Fryderyk Drab managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Sainz made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. In the 72ndth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mitschullen SSA's Dobromir Mielak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haluk Özdil hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jorge Sainz made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Camilo Franco. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haluk Özdil in the 81st minute of play. Haluk Özdil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Jorge Sainz in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mitschullen SSA's Czeslaw Zdanowicz. Robert Czaplicki charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Czaplicki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mitschullen SSA getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Robert Czaplicki hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Özdil, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
