Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomé Reis went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the game, Douglas de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Douglas de Souza made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denílson Negri made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Léo de Brito threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Villa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Honduras booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

A collision led to Floresta Club U18 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Douglas de Souza hit a great ball. Léo de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Douglas de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Ruy da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza got a free kick in the 76th minute. Douglas de Souza hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Maia in the 81st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Denílson Negri with Tomé Reis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Floresta Club U18's Vito Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Denílson Negri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 90 minutes into the game, Douglas de Souza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Douglas de Souza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Floresta Club U18 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
