Joaquim Pinhal kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Seleção de Macau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homero Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Sousa's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 18 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. After 19 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Mario Fernandino. In the 21st minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Fontirroig might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Lousada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Fontirroig ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso de la Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Lousada having to interfere. Alberto Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Castro in the 38th minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Seleção de Macau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateus Carvalhal to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Sousa was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Castro in the 52nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Alfonso de la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Santiago Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seleção de Macau's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Alberto Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 74 minutes into the match, Alberto Castro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 78 minutes, Santiago Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seleção de Macau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 minutes, Alfonso de la Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolivia and the Seleção de Macau players grew even worse after the yellow card. 86 minutes into the match, Santiago Sousa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa, 0-5. Octávio Valentim got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alberto Castro. Camilo Freixa was a little too slow when Alberto Castro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-6. Seleção de Macau's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
