Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The Floresta Club U18 fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas de Souza in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tomé Reis struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Club U18. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Douglas de Souza put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas de Souza's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo de Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douglas de Souza took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. Douglas de Souza took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 38th minute, Tomé Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Douglas de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas de Souza in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 45th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Tomé Reis notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Axel Tasis scored 1-6 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Léo de Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Douglas de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Floresta Club U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas de Souza couldn't finish the play. Gilmar Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Castro in the 62nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Douglas de Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-7 in the 63 minute of play. In the 69th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Douglas de Souza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Douglas de Souza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Douglas de Souza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 74th playminute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Tomé Reis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Floresta Club U18's Douglas de Souza shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-10 in the ordered_time% minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Douglas de Souza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-11. Floresta Club U18 played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
