Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wang Fei Xing took the kick off in the first half of the match. Erik Grøneng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Fei Xing came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Raymond Engevik sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Erik Grøneng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's Wang Fei Xing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Grøneng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of the match. Wang Fei Xing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Joey Célestin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kjønstad BF and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Costel Pânzariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Grøneng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Kjønstad BF got a freekick which was hit by Joey Célestin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 48th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Grøneng came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wang Fei Xing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Fei Xing in the 53rd minute of play. Kjønstad BF's Erik Grøneng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of play. Erik Grøneng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Grøneng saved Kjønstad BF from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Grøneng having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Engevik, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Wang Fei Xing took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 73rd minute, Rene Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. Theodor Fjermestad replaced Rene Egoitz. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Rene Egoitz got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Grøneng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Erik Grøneng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjønstad BF's Eskil Tande was substituted for Yngvar Roth. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Joel Gaona got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Erik Grøneng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Grøneng having to interfere. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
