Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hardeep Kunt in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Aurelio Badilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Badilla in the 12th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as C.D Las Palmas - Chota's Hardeep Kunt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. 26 minutes into the match, Hardeep Kunt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a C.D Las Palmas - Chota's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. A hard shot 40 in the game by Hardeep Kunt from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Aurelio Badilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D Las Palmas - Chota's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Badilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes C.D Las Palmas - Chota got a freekick which was hit by Eneas Piedrahita. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Cean came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the C.D Las Palmas - Chota players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Hardeep Kunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Fede Saron made a huge save. C.D Las Palmas - Chota's Ruud van Nistelrooij was substituted for Hardeep Kunt. C.D Las Palmas - Chota made a substitution. Júlían Cárdenas replaced Zlatan Junior.
