Luca Zorita hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alper Benli in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Heintje Gamarra was slow to take the kick. During this time Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Heintje Gamarra to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 31st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panait Hațegan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Panait Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Alper Benli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panait Hațegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 54th minute of the match. Alper Benli took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alberto Tafalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Panait Hațegan firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Hațegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Panait Hațegan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Sneijder in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panait Hațegan. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
