Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven-Oskar Åhman got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Emil Wahlström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Åhman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Erik Albohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emil Wahlström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Wahlström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute Tomas Kielstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hogans Heroes getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Erik Albohm hit a great ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Harry Forssell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emil Wahlström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Oskar Åhman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Wahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Kielstedt in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. If Evert Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Åhman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 57th minute Harry Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Wahlström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sven-Oskar Åhman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Sven-Oskar Åhman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Oskar Åhman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emil Wahlström could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Sven-Oskar Åhman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Sven-Oskar Åhman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Åhman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hogans Heroes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Hogans Heroes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Oskar Åhman to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Tomas Kielstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hogans Heroes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Wahlström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, Hogans Heroes's Tomas Kielstedt made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
