Erik Grøneng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yngvar Roth got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edmílson Prata. Edmílson Prata hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Peru's Luz Tejedor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kjønstad BF. Erik Grøneng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erik Grøneng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Grøneng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Raymond Engevik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
