Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 3rd minute, but Lautaro Navarro got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Honduras hanging dry this time. After 4 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Örjan Magnusson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jörgen Gadd got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lautaro Navarro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 10 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Alberg came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stewart Tongs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Tord Alberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tord Alberg made a great header on Vänersborg SC's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Honduras booed when Vänersborg SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örjan Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stewart Tongs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Vänersborg SC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Rune Fågel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Fågel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Vänersborg SC's Stewart Tongs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Fågel in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stewart Tongs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 38 minutes, Bobbo Viking managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vänersborg SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobbo Viking was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vänersborg SC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rune Fågel was the one to do the kick off. 68 minutes into the match, Rune Fågel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rune Fågel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Vänersborg SC. Örjan Magnusson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lautaro Navarro. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stewart Tongs. That made the score 3-2 after 76 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the game, Vänersborg SC's Rune Fågel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Ingmar Klementsson made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rune Fågel. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Fågel in the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Ingmar Klementsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ingmar Klementsson in the 97 minute of the game.
