Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Vänersborg SC's Rune Fågel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vänersborg SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Francisco Seco scored to the left of an out of position Stewart Tongs, making the score, 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Vänersborg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Stewart Tongs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Tongs having to interfere. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Francisco Seco sped through Vänersborg SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stewart Tongs. 26 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Fågel came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vänersborg SC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tord Alberg hit a great ball. Stewart Tongs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bobbo Viking came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Vänersborg SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bobbo Viking couldn't finish the play. Arturo Carvallo made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vänersborg SC's Jörgen Gadd. 81 minutes into the match, Vänersborg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Stewart Tongs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Uruguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
