The Fiori Mota was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Mete Nared threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Antonio Tenorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Mota having to interfere. The Vila Nova FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 95 minutes into the match, Vila Nova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Fiori Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vila Nova FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peru.
