Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Roosendael, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Billberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xhoris's Jerry Wollans got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gust Swiggers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tuure Jamieson got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Goran Vidović. 32 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Billberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Xhoris's Richard Billberg got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Xhoris's Richard Billberg. Richard Billberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 played minutes Xhoris got a freekick which was hit by Freek Jongbloedt. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Billberg having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Felix Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Xhoris players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gust Swiggers to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Gust Swiggers made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Roosendael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After 61 played minutes Xhoris got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Roosendael. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xhoris's Gwenn Van Riel was substituted for William Wipp. Richard Billberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Billberg having to interfere. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senne Vrijdags, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Xhoris fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Xhoris's Senne Vrijdags looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Richard Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Tuure Jamieson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dante Lacasa, passed just outside the right post. In the 95th minute, Gust Swiggers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Xhoris walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
